Marathon Training Programs Check back later in spring 2009 for more info on the Fall Program! The MDRA offers two marathon training programs throughout the year. A Fall Program program that most of the participants typically train for the Twin Cities Marathon in October and a Spring class that most of the class members use to train for the Fargo Marathon in May or the Grandma's Marathon in June. Each program has a Tuesday run and classroom session and then a longer run on Saturday. The Tuesday sessions meet in Edina at the Community Center and the Saturday runs are from a variety of running locations. The classes are coached by certified coaches and include training topics such as injury prevention, nutrition, also different training methods and philosophies. |
