21st Annual Lyndon Ellefson Memorial Run

Lyndon Ellefson, a Barron native, died July 10, 1998 after falling into a deep crevasse in the Italian Alps. Lyndon, 39, was the son of Nyles and Ruth Ellefson and a 1977 graduate of Barron High School. Lyndon lived in Vail, CO with his wife Tashina and their two sons Sylvan and Kjell. He was scheduled to compete in the Skyrunning World Championship in Cervania, Italy on July 12, 1998. He was making a training run at the time of the accident.

The BACC front desk will be open from Noon to 9:00pm on the 13th for packet pick-up. Registration & packet pick-up booths will open at 7:30am on the 14th.
Entry Fee Includes:
Short sleeve t-shirt, swag bag, post race breakfast, use of aqua-massage, and full use of BACC facilities for the day, including: showers, swimming pool, whirlpool and more.
Post Race Breakfast:
FREE breakfast for all participants.
Professional Chip Timing
Medals awarded to top three finishers of each category in Half-Marathon and 5K.
Custom pottery awarded to first place winners in 5K & Half-Marathon men’s and women’s divisions.
EVERY 1/2 Marathon finisher will receive a Finishers Medal!
Children’s races will be held on the track – Prizes for all!
