Fred Kurz 10 Mile
April 14 @ 8:30 am
The oldest continuously held running event in Minnesota, the historic Fred Kurz 10 mile is an out-and-back along the beautiful Luce Line Trail, and features a time-handicapped start. Slower paces start earlier, with all runners arriving at the finish at the same time.
Check in starts at 7:30 a.m., Saturday, April 14th; first runners start about 8:30 a.m. Starting times are handicapped by the “world-renowned” Rick Recker Guessimetric Method, with the slowest runners starting first and, ideally, all runners finishing at about the same time (10:30). Thus, all entries MUST include times and distances from at least two (2) races of recent vintage.
