Lake Johanna 4 Mile

This is the oldest / longest continuously sponsored race by the MDRA, first run in 1961. This is the first of the MDRA running series to test your winter training. Registration opens January 18, 2020.

Due to evolving concerns surrounding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Minnesota Distance Running Association (MDRA) has made changes to its schedule of races and programs as we do our part in slowing the spread of the COVID-19 Virus.   MDRA Race, the Lake Johanna 4 Mile scheduled for March 14, 2020 at Schmidt Park in Arden Hills, MN has been canceled. Decisions on holding upcoming races will be made in the coming weeks.

Race Start: 11:00 AM

Bib Pick up begins: 10:00 AM

Where: Tony Schmidt Park, Boat Launch Parking Lot, Arden Hills, MN –North End of Lake Johanna

Course: A scenic yet challenging Four mile loop around Lake Johanna through the residential neighborhood of Arden Hills. Roads will not be closed to traffic, runners are urged to be aware of traffic.

Registration: Registration opens Jan 18, 2020. Online registration will be open until race start! Don’t wait in line race morning to sign up when you can on your phone or at home. iPad’s will be available for Race day registration.

Results: Posted at runmdra.org. Finishers should note their individual time on the display clock as they cross the finish line.
