Couch to 5K with MDRA
An 8 session group training program.
2020 Dates – Mondays, April 13th – June 1st
This 8-week program is designed to help beginning runners gradually progress from 0 miles to the completion of a 5K (3.1 miles) race. The program begins on Monday, April 13th and will conclude with the Walker Foundation Run/Walk For the Health of It 5K on Saturday, June 6th. NOTE: if you have another 5K in mind, you can still participate in the program.
The program consists of three 30-minute sessions each week; two completed on your own and one group workout which will be followed by a discussion on topics such as; shoes and apparel, safety, where to run, what to eat, and much more. All group workouts and discussions will be held Monday evenings from 6-7 PM at Walker Methodist Health Center, 3737 Bryant Ave South in Minneapolis.
This class will be led by MDRA members and a certified coach. These passionate runners are eager to help you reach your goals by sharing their knowledge and answering your questions.

$80 for MDRA Members. Join MDRA for only $25 a year! Does not include race registration.
