2018 MDRA FALL PROGRAM

16 week program geared for Twin Cities Marathon

 first group run June 23, 2018

Coaches and MDRA staff will be on site at 7:30am. Run starts at 8am sharp!

 Sears Parking Lot, 425 Rice St, St Paul

Meet in the south east corner between Sears and the Best Western

Class Registration: 2018 Fall Marathon & Half Marathon Program

Training: Certified coaches collaborate on a training plan with four distinct training groups so you can train at the level right for your fitness and lifestyle. It is recommended that marathon runners have a base of at least 20-25 a week before entering the class. Group runs are Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings. Half and Full Training Programs run in conjunction with each other.

Location: Group runs meet at a variety of locations across the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, primarily focused on the TCM course.

Education: Guest speakers and coaches cover training topics such as injury prevention, mental preparation, nutrition and different training topics.

Hydration Support: Hydration stops serving Powerade and water along your group runs.

Midweek runs: Tuesday runs begin at 6:00pm and help you remain consistent in your training by offering a group setting to push you through speed or hillwork..

SWAG: Choose from an MDRA tech tank or hat.

The group training dynamic: Gain confidence, security and camaraderie with the support of a training group.

Team leads: Run with friendly, knowledgeable and experienced MDRA member pace group leaders.

Special shopping days: Deep discounts scheduled twice a session to get you set up with everything you’ll need for training.

Cost: MDRA members $125, Non-members $150 (includes a 1 year MDRA membership). Does not include race registration.

2018 MDRA Spring PROGRAM

Register for MDRA’s popular marathon training program geared for Grandma’s Marathon or other spring marathons! Read testimonials from past participants here!

Come to our Information Session on February 27th at Matthews Recreation Center from 7pm-8pm, or join us at the First Run on March 3rd!

Training: Certified coaches collaborate on a 15-week training plan with four distinct training groups so you can train at the level right for your fitness and lifestyle.  It is recommended that marathon runners have a base of at least 20-25 miles a week before entering the class. Group runs are Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings. Program runs in conjunction with the Half Marathon Training Program.

MDRA Grandma’s Running Club Program: Grandma’s Marathon registration discount, special access to start-of-race tent, finish line meeting area and perks for family and friends.

Location: Group runs meet at a variety of locations across the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, primarily focused on locations around the lakes and river road.

Education: Guest speakers and coaches cover training topics such as injury prevention, mental preparation, nutrition and different training methods and philosophies.

Hydration Support: Hydration stops serving Powerade and water along your group runs.

Midweek runs: Tuesday runs begin at 6:00pm and help you remain consistent in your training.
SWAG: Choose from an MDRA tech tank, or MDRA headsweats visor or hat.

The group training dynamic: Gain confidence, security and camaraderie with the support of a training group.
