Wendy Jones

Having discovered running in 1994 as part of her long-term recovery from alcohol addiction, Wendy is a firm believer in the power of running to change lives. Running has been a regular part of her life for over 20 years, and in 2013 she joined MDRA to participate in the Fall Training Program for her first marathon. She’s participated in every Fall and Spring training program since then and has now completed over 10 marathons. She has worked in nonprofit leadership and audience engagement for most of her career, and she loves that MDRA welcomes runners of all abilities and backgrounds. Making the 6-hour marathoners feel just as special as the Boston qualifiers is a mission she fully supports!
